What are your woody kits made out of?
Quality vinyl simulated wood materials. The simulated "Cheyenne Teak" has a dark almond colored wood grain design. Every woody kit also includes our exclusive quarter round trim moldings for a factory like finish. The trim material is called "Santa Rosa Oak", it is a light almond color simulated wood grain. The combination of high-quality vinyl panels and extruded trim is not only beautiful, it is also maintenance free. All the materials provided are OEM approved and manufactured in North America at ISO 9001 facilities. The use of high quality application specific materials permits us to offer a 3 year manufacturer's warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Can I install my own Woody Kit?
Yes, designed to be easily installed by the home enthusiast, all components are shipped ready to install and require no trimming or fabrication. The detailed instructions with extensive photos make installation a simple matter of following directions. Hundreds of home enthusiasts have installed our kits!

How does it stick on?
The wood grain vinyl goes on with a wet application. The trim sticks on with a pre-applied 3M adhesive tape backing. There are no holes to drill.

I don't want to install it myself, what do I do?
Check with a local auto body shop or a customizing shop and ask them how much their hourly labor rate is. Ask if they will install your woody kit package, you can tell them the kit is made of quality vinyl simulated wood materials, all components are shipped ready to install and require no trimming or fabrication. The detailed instructions with extensive photos make installation a simple matter of following directions. Install labor time is about 4-5 hours.

How much time is required to install?
Install labor time is about 4-5 hours. All kits are shipped ready-to-install. The detailed instructions are designed for the first-time installer or your local aftermarket installer for a fast, trouble-free installation and consist of included instruction manuals with step-by-step text and photos.

How long does it last?
Our woody kit materials have been lab and field tested for durability to insure that with normal maintenance they will retain their high quality finish for the life of your car. The materials are guaranteed to you, the original purchaser, for three years.

It is nearly impossible to match material from other installed applications. We highly recommend you Buy a Woody Kit Materials Sample first before purchasing your woody materials. If you decide to purchase universal woody kit materials, please estimate and measure how much you need then Order Woody Kit Materials by the Foot online or phone in your order. Universal woody kit materials are special order and are not returnable.

If you already have wood material installed and are looking to replace one or two panels, this material would most likely not match the same color or match the grain patterns. Perhaps in this case you could search for replacements parts or panels from the original supplier before you decide you have to replace the whole kit.

We have the wood vinyl on a roll that is two foot wide, it sells for $15 per foot unrolled. It is called "Cheyenne Teak", it is a dark almond color simulated wood grain. The trim material is called "Santa Rosa Oak", it is a light almond color simulated wood grain and is sold by the foot, $3.50 a foot for 1/2" wide, and $4.50 a foot for 1" wide.

To install a universal woody kit you have to measure and cut all the parts yourself before installation. Butcher paper is handy to use for a making a template so you can determine the correct patterns to cut the wood grain vinyl. The trim is flexible if you need to bend around fender curves or other body curves, the 1/2" trim being more flexible than the 1". You would need to determine how much trim you need, Order Woody Materials by the Foot, then cut it to fit before you install it.

How fast is shipping?
Our Woody Kits ship factory direct from Michigan. They are usually shipped in 24-48 hours. Shipping is by UPS Ground. Your woody kit should arrive in approximately 5-10 days depending on your location.
